Allegro PCB Design Tips
Cross Probing Orcad and Allegro Inter Tool Communication
It is possible to select a component in OrCAD and have it selected in Allegro.
To use this feature, you must ensure that, in Orcad, Options ->Preserences -> Miscellaneous -> Enable Intertool Communication is selected.
If you are using a set of Orcad and Allegro Design, you may have to update the Allegro PCB brd design with the latest netlist.
With this feature, if you select a particular components in OrCAD, then the corresponding component gets selected in Allegro. It may be a good idea to have two Displays one displaying the Schematics and the other displaying Allegro PCB.
