Spartixed - Serial Ports
You can experiment with UART and related code using On board PL2303 USB to UART Chip. The section of the Circuit for USB to UART is shown below.
When the Switches are in OFF position the Input to the Spartixed is 1. When the Switches are ON, it turns 0. The location of switch should be self evident.
The Pin Numbers for the UART Pins on Spartan 6 is 80 and 81. Please see relavant code in the tutorial.
