Complained Better Business Bureau for Adsense Issue

June 23rd, 2009

I had no other option but to complain Better Business Bureau for my adsense issue. I actually wanted to cooperate with Google to resolve the issue amicably and to their satisfaction. However, google neither replied satisfactorily, nor paid attention to my request.

I got the following confirmation mail from BBB.

Complaint Text

I was a adsense publisher for over two years. My website http://diggsamachar.com, http://referencedesigner.com and http://janatanews.com had decent traffic and I was making about $200 to $300 a month using google adsense.

In June 2009, I got a notice from google that my adsense acount has been canceled. I contacted Google about the reason of the cancellation. They replied that – “that your account poses a significant risk to our advertisers.”. On repeated request for explanation, they did not disclose what how my websites was posing risk to the advertisers.

Some of my website has scholarly tutorials and articles. For example, please check http://referencedesigner.com/tutorials. I am author of the book entitled “Signal Integrity for PCB Designer”. My website http://diggsamachar.com has user generated contents. It also has a forum http://diggsamachar.com/adrforum.

Google also had the complain about the pictures of my photo uploading page at http://diggsamachar.com/pics. This was promptly addressed and I received the following email from Hannah, which acknowledged the fact the my website was now in compliance with the google policy.
